Brambly FAQs
● Are dogs allowed in the park?
○ Absolutely! We just ask that they remain on their leashes at all times. We have water bowls available at all times for those thirsty pups on the hot days as well as clean up stations. We also have pup cups and doggie dinners for your hungry pups. Please no dogs on any tables or seats in Brambly Park!
● Are children allowed in the park?
○ Absolutely! We love seeing the families in and around the park! We do ask that you keep your kiddos nearby to avoid any safety concerns. We have plenty of games for them to play outside including Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and Connect4.
● You’re a winery, but do you serve beer and cocktails?
○ Oh yeah! We have a comprehensive beverage selection replete with spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine. In addition to the wines made in-house at Brambly and wines made with our partner wineries, we also offer an award winning curated wine list representing some of our favorite wines from around the world.
● Can I bring outside food?
○ With the exception of cakes and/or cupcakes for large groups, we do not allow outside food. We are a full service restaurant and are required by law to adhere to food safety and health code regulations. If you have any specific dietary needs or allergies, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to accommodate you!
Are outside desserts permitted?
○ In our restaurant, Bari Trattoria, we charge a mandatory $2 dessert fee per person for outside dessert. This fee covers us providing plates, napkins, cutlery, and cutting the cake. In the park side of Brambly Park, if the guests provide all the tools for the dessert and do not need any assistance, there is no charge for bringing in an outside dessert. If a guest needs plates, napkins, cutlery, refrigeration, or any other dessert-related service from the Brambly Park team, the $2 per person fee applies.
● Do I need a reservation?
○ While reservations are not required, we do recommend them. Brambly Park and Bari do tend to get busy pretty quickly (especially on the weekends) and having reservations can reduce the likelihood that you and your guests might have to wait for a spot to come available!
● Is there live music every night?
○ We are HUGE fans of the live music scene in our dear RVA and we have live music almost every night! We have Trivia on Tuesdays but, Wed-Sun we have live music on our park stage, weather permitting. Peter LeBlanc, owner of BariPete Productions, maintains a full calendar of amazing talent for us throughout the year, including multiple performances Wed-Sun. We update our website calendar frequently and share additional details on our Instagram account. ● Is your wine for sale to go?
○ Yes! We’d love to sell you any of our bottles for on premises or off premises consumption! On Wednesdays, we even offer bottles of wine for 50% off!
● Do you have parking?
○ We do! We’re lucky enough to be nestled in the back of the neighborhood with a sprawling parking lot. With that said, it does get pretty packed during the weekends so plan accordingly!
● What is the service charge outside in Brambly Park for?
○ All QR code orders (any orders placed by phone from your park table) include a 20% service charge when closed out. This service charge is used to pay our Park team and is intended to replace tipping. Additional tips are not suggested or required unless you feel the need!
● What happens to my reservation when it rains?
○ If the park closes due to rain, feel free to contact one of our hosts to see if we can accommodate your party inside or on our covered patio. While we always do our best to move all parties inside, we cannot guarantee movement from one section to another.
● Do you do happy hour?
○ We have happy “hour” from 12-6pm every Tuesday-Friday. We offer $5 off all pizzas, a variety of beer and wine for $5 per glass, and Old-Fashioned/Aperol Spritz for $8
● Do you offer military/college/neighborhood discounts?
○ We offer a 10% discount to veterans! Please notify your server at checkout. If you are ordering via QR codes in the Park, please notify a nearby staff member so the discount can be applied. Also, we offer 10% off for resident of Steelhead Management properties (The Ella, The Preserve, The Scout, and The Symbol)
